# Introduction

> Reality Harness turns your real coding and planning work into Conquoreum progress.

Reality Harness is how Conquoreum turns **real work you already do** — commits, shipped releases, completed to-dos — into XP in the Throne Room. It runs as an MCP server in your own Claude Code / Claude Desktop client, reading your local repos and (optionally) an Obsidian task board. Nothing you do here requires leaving your terminal or editor.

You don't need to adopt all of it at once. Reality Harness has three levels, and each one is a strict addition to the one before it — nothing about an earlier level changes when you add a later one.
